Mark W. McClure, AIA

Mark W. McClure is the founder and principal architect of McClure Architecture, a Memphis-based practice dedicated to designing timeless and thoughtfully composed residences. Launched in 2015, after more than two decades partnering with noted architect Oscar Menzer, the firm's body of work illustrates its versatility and command of a variety of styles. Growing up in Columbus, Mississippi surrounded by beautiful antebellum homes and being the nephew of two architects, the pursuit of a profession in architecture seemed a natural one.

The Firm

McClure Architecture is a boutique architectural practice specializing in custom residential architecture throughout the Southeastern United States. The studio's work ranges from new residences and extensive renovations to additions, guest houses, pool structures, garden buildings, and bespoke furniture. Each project is traditional, grounded in classical architectural principles, yet designed for today's lifestyle. The firm has developed a reputation for producing elegant, refined and well-proportioned designs for its patrons.

Founded in 2015, McClure Architecture focuses on upper-end custom residential work, including new homes, renovations, additions, pool houses, garages, garden structures, and custom architectural furnishings. Each project is shaped by careful listening, thoughtful planning, and a commitment to design that feels both timeless and personal.

Mark W. McClure, AIA brings decades of architectural experience to the practice. Before founding McClure Architecture, Mark worked with several of Memphis’ largest architectural firms, gaining experience in residential, commercial, and medical projects in the United States and Europe. He later worked with local architect Oscar Menzer for twenty-three years, concentrating on upper-end custom residential work.
